Consult with a Landscape Designer.
Share your wishlist and objectives — as well as any challenges — with one of our designers. You’ll be presented with a design proposal that outlines our process in detail.

On-site analysis.
After you accept the design proposal and we receive your deposit, we’ll arrange a visit to take measurements, photos and review the relevant issues of your property.

Finalize the design plan.
You’ll have a chance to review the proposed design plan and an estimated cost for construction. We’ll make any revisions you request and prepare the final design. Once approved and we receive your construction deposit, we can start building!

Enjoy your completed project!
During construction, we’ll take care of all the details and walk through it with you to make sure everything is going according to plan. Once complete, the only thing for you to do is enjoy your new landscape!

Protect your investment.
Keep your property looking its best — and extend your warranty —by opting for a custom property care package.

Professional photography
With your approval, a photographer will visit to capture images of your new landscape for use in publications and award submissions.

meet our team
UBL Group is a complete exterior and interior design-build company. Co-founded by brothers Umberto, Gianmarco, and Stefano Lopardo in 2018, the business has roots in their childhood. Growing up, their father put them to work helping with home renovations. It was a practical arrangement—their dad saved on labor, and the brothers learned the fundamentals of building from the inside out.
Through their formative years, they took on various jobs, working as restaurant servers, painters for contractors, and plumbing laborers. These roles were great learning experiences that built their strong work ethic. Ultimately, the brothers wanted to combine their creativity and work together to build a business that helps homeowners turn their visions into reality.
What started with a focus on building perfect outdoor landscapes naturally expanded to include comprehensive interior work. Today, whether they are engineering a backyard oasis or removing structural walls to create a modern, open-concept living space, their commitment remains the same. The brothers have worked endlessly since 2018 to get to where they are, and they continually strive to grow, learn, and provide exceptional craftsmanship and service to you.
Umberto Lopardo
Is the eldest brother. He graduated from Brock in 2019 from the Concurrent Education
Primary/ Junior program. After graduating from Brock he attended Humber for their Landscape Design program. Umberto’s role at UBL is sales and operations, and he is a lead hand for their crew.
In his spare time, he runs and plays hockey. Umberto ran collegiately for Brock and Humber. On top of any questions about landscaping, he could likely answer your running questions and chat with you about hockey.
gianmarco Lopardo
Is the middle brother. He graduated from Queens in 2020 with a Life
Sciences degree. After graduating from Queens, he attended the Buildings
and Renovation program at George Brown. Gianmarco’s role at UBL is
estimating, business financials, and he is the foreman for their crew.
In his spare time, he enjoys boxing, playing hockey, and playing soccer.
Aside from talking about business, you can always ask him questions about
many different sports and new tv shows.
stefano Lopardo
The youngest of the three brothers. He graduated in 2024 with a Civil Engineering degree at McGill University. Stefano’s role is sales, marketing, and operations.
In his spare time, Stefano enjoys being active by exercising and loves
playing sports such as hockey. He also enjoys listening to music and
spending time with his friends and family.
